On The Air
'On The Air', a Circus Space Degree Ensemble Show- Devised.
A circus show that took its inspiration from different artists who
had used circus imagery in their work. Edward Hopper's disillusioned
clown, Henry Miller's ecstatic buffoon, Joseph Roth's macabre
circus from 'Hotel Savoy' and Ionesco's 'A Stroll in the Air.'
A pilgrim's progress through a nightmarish dystopia, the holocaust,
the Iraqi war, touched by the grace of the clown.
